About Ocean Colony

Homeowners in the 24-hour guard gated community of Ocean Colony in Huntington Beach, California enjoy the ultimate beach lifestyle. One block from the beach, this is considered to be prime location, and many homes have spectacular ocean views.

Ocean Colony is made up of 53 luxury single family homes that were built from 1999 to 2001. Residents enjoy being within steps of the sand as well as the dog beach area. As a part of the Seacliff community of West Huntington Beach, this neighborhood features the only estate-size single family homes in the city that are directly across the street from the ocean.

There are several highly ranked schools that are provided by the public education system including Huntington Seacliff Elementary School, Ethel Dwyer Middle School, and Huntington Beach High School. And there a variety of private schools in the Huntington Beach area including St. Bonaventure School, Hebrew Academy, Liberty Christian School, and The Pegasus School.

This community is located close to many stores, restaurants, and entertainment. And it is adjacent to the Harriet Weider Regional Park and the Bolsa Chica Wetlands. Weider Regional Park is part of a larger park that will eventually cover 106 acres and will link the Bolsa Chica State Beach to the Huntington Beach Central Park. It includes open areas for picnicking, granite pathways, a 24-car parking lot, and playground equipment. It has many scenic viewpoints with trails and native plants. The Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve is open seven days a week and features native live animal exhibitions and aquaria.

Ocean Colony is also close to many stores, restaurants, daily services, and entertainment. The Downtown District offers many boutiques and stores as well as the International Surfing Museum. Visitors enjoy going to the Huntington Beach Pier which stretches from Main Street to the Pacific Ocean; it’s one of the longest in the region.
